From SSDiesel SupplyTM, Auto Meter Transmission Temp Gauge kit. Includes everything you need for an easy installation in your automatic transmission. Kit contains 2-1/16" gauge as pictured, gauge light, temperature sending unit, and instructions. Temp probe can be screwed into an 1/8" test port in tranny or custom installed in cooling line or fluid pan.
Tranny temp must never exceed 240 Degrees Farenheit or transmission failure will occur. Without a gauge, how do you know your temp? An absolute must for towing, and when adding performance mods or tuning for your Duramax for more power, or just everyday driving. With a tranny temp gauge you'll know when it's time to back-off and save your transmission! |
