Direct replacement vacuum pump for all 96+ 6.5 TD C/K trucks, Vans and H1 Hummers. Reman.

Your vacuum pump controls your turbo, and on Light duty trucks the EGR valve also. If you are experiencing turbo problems, it may just be low vacuum. Vacuum should be a minimum of 15 inches of vacuum at the wastegate valve to operate properly. Preferably 25+ inches of vacuum. Anything less then 15 and your boost will be low and you may trip a code with your ses light. This pump is belt driven off of your serpentine belt.

Its also advisable to replace the pulley at this time, also sold in the category, p/n ssd-757. If purchased at the same time, we can install at no charge upon request.

If transferring the old pulley, you must use Pulley Install tool ssd-7021 or permanent damage to the pump will result.
