Turbo oil drain-back hose for all 92-2001 C/K trucks using the GM-3, GM-4, GM-5 and GM-8 turbos. Will not fit vans or Hummers as they use a GM-6 turbo. This is the small hose that connects the drain tube from the turbo to the lower engine tube. It returns the oil to the crankcase, sent by the oil feed line. It usually gets soft and leaks over time creating an oil leak on the passenger side of the engine. It must be removed to replace the turbo and/or the injectors, so why not replace it at the same time. Made from special high-temp material, made to withstand hot engine oil. Do not make the mistake as many do by using something like a grarden hose or heater hose. The rubber is not designed for hot oil and will fail in a few weeks. |
