NEW from SSDiesel Supply^TM, massive 4 inch complete 409 STAINLESS STEEL exhaust system turbo-back for Chevy/GMC C/K full size pick-ups, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton trucks with the 6.5 Turbo Diesel engine from 1992 thru 2000*. Fits ALL wheelbase models, regular cab long bed-131", extended cab short bed-155", extended cab and crew cab long bed-168.5" wheel base. If in doubt of fitment, measure your wheelbase length. If 168.5" or less ths kit will fit. If over, let us know your wheelbase length and we can custom make the right length for a slight cost adder. I have also sold several kits to Suburban owners as well and they say it is a good fit. Only some slight hanger modification and shortening the intermediate pipe was necessary. But since designed for the 6.5TD C/K pick-up truck, use on any other vehicle is at your own risk of fitment. Will NOT fit 2 door Yukons, Tahoes or Blazers. We do have a kit for that vehicle as p/n ssd-4005799.

NOTE*: For 94+ trucks, rod style hangers included which must be welded to the pipe in the location of your choice. If you have a 92-93 vehicle, use a universal type hanger such as our ssd-630550.

Do not be confused with some so-called 4" systems that are actually 3 or 3.5" up to the muffler that sell for less. Our system is a true 4" and 14 gauge American made STAINLESS STEEL !!! Don't be confused by others selling for less and claiming "Made in the USA". What they mean is "bent in the USA", but they use inferior imported steel made from recycled Chinese soup cans. This kit has a shipping weight of 80#. Compare to theirs weighing 40-50#. You be the judge which you prefer for your American made diesel.

Expect a great increase in horsepower and cooler operating temps over stock 2.75", (shown in photo for comparison) and over the competition's 3" and 3-1/2" systems. Also lower EGT's and higher boost pressures. As everyone knows, Diesels need to breathe, and this system will solve that restriction problem. This kit works even better with our Performance Induction Kit ssd-707 or 717.

This kit contains, a 3" downpipe (largest OD that will fit) and complete 4 inch MANDREL BENT exhaust system using 14 gauge 409 STAINLESS STEEL "MADE IN USA". Includes a straight thru Stainless Steel muffler 4" in and out. Includes all Stainless Steel clamps and hangers, including detailed instructions and assembly diagram. Note: Muffler shown in close-up has been polished. You will need to supply the elbow grease for that! You can polish the entire system for a custom look if desired.

Note: 409 stainless steel is magnetic, and is the standard material for all stainless exhaust systems.

OPTIONAL CATALYTIC CONVERTER KIT IS AVAILABLE AS P/N SSD-59959 ALSO IN THE CATEGORY. CAT KIT INCLUDES A 3" HIGH FLOW STAINLESS STEEL CONVERTER WITH ALL THE NECESSARY CLAMPS NEEDED. THE CAT MOUNTS DIRECTLY INTO THE DOWN PIPE AND DISCHARGES INTO THE 4 INCH SYSTEM. REQUIRES CUTTING OF THE DOWNPIPE TO CLAMP IN THE CONVERTER.
